We will offer a 5 day all-inclusive retreat at Kasbah bab Ourika magical hideaway :
-Focusing on wellness with yoga classes everyday while connecting to nature, people and beauty in all its forms.
-Exploring your creativity with daily workshops and activities.
-Enjoying the Moroccan ‘art de vivre’ and discover local culture in an exceptional rural environment.

We all need good vibes and get carried away at some point to unlock our inspiration !
Our goal is to create a very intimate, immersive and transformative experience : You will leave the retreat filled with positive energie and your mind open !

Whether you just need to take a break while relaxing and sipping mint tea or you want to connect with like-minded people who are equally passionate about travel, yoga, nature : this retreat has been tailor-made for you !

Registration to the retreat is limited to 10 guests to allow for a more personable and intimate experience.

Virginie Faucher

French photographer Virginie Faucher has lived in Marrakech for nine years and now works between France and Morocco.
She does lifestyle, travel and food photography for magazines, brands and restaurants.
She lives for travelling and the art of exploration and believes in the beauty of collaboration.
Virginie brings a warm, positive energy to all aspects of her work and can’t wait to connect with your creative souls and share her experience, tools and knowledge while exploring the Moroccan «Art de vivre»!

Beatriz Maximo

Beatriz Maximo is originally from Portugal. She fell in love with Morocco more than 20 years ago when she moved to Skoura, southern Morocco and renovated an ancient Kasbah she turned into a hotel. Her passion for Moroccan people, style and culture grew over the years as did her love for the world of hospitality.
Beatriz is a natural at making each guest always feel welcomed and at home with her warm personality and attention to detail- she is the soul of Kasbah Bab Ourika.
She can’t wait to open the doors to your Moroccan sweet escape and share her magic.

FAQ

  • Flight to Marrakech airport – Pick-up and transfer to KBO will be arranged

  • It’s pretty mild in November and most of the time very sunny, but it’s highly recommended to bring along sweaters and a light jacket as it can be cool in the mornings and in the evenings, especially near the Atlas mountains

  • Accomodation, meals, transportation

  • Flights to and from Marrakech
    Wine/liquors will be available on request and will be paid by each guest

  • Send an email to book your spot

  • 50% deposit of total amount is requested by transfer to book your spot, then payment of the final balance is due 2 weeks prior to the retreat start date.
    If the final balance is not received by the due date and there is no concise reason as to why, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

  • No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur… We encourage you to purchase a trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat.
    • Deposits are non-refundable unless you can find someone to take your spot. If you have to cancel your trip you may use your deposit as a credit for a next retreat.
    • Cancellation requests submitted 2 weeks (or less) prior to the retreat date, 70% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded and you can still use your deposit as a credit for a further retreat.
    • Any cancellation must be made in writing (via email) and be acknowledged by us

  • Please note that if the retreat has to be postponed based on border closures then a credit for your deposit will be issued to be used for the postponement date. If the retreat happens as scheduled, but you decide not to attend based on any other reason than a country's border closure, then the regular cancellation policy (stated above) will be maintained.

  • In addition to the photos Virginie will take to document this retreat, there will be plenty of beautiful moments you will want to capture yourself. It will be an Instagram worthy stay so shoot away!
    Guests will also have rights to use Virginie’s photos from the retreat, properly credited, across all media platforms.
    You will get a complimentary portrait taken by Virginie in one of the many fabulous spots at the Kasbah.
